The Top 10 Ways to Choose a Coach Using Your IntuitionCategory: Personal Development: Basic (BA623)Originally Submitted on 5/27/2002. Everyone wants to develop their intuition. Now's as good a time as any to get started. Let's look at how you might choose a coach intuitively. 1. Enter COACH in a search engine and trust the process to begin. Intuition is all about process and flow and trusting that. 2. Look at the coach's photograph on their website. Register a like or dislike. Intuitives are visual and give great emphasis to their first reaction to something. 3. Notice the balance between words and images on the page. Is it you? Intuitives put a lot of credibility on the subtle things and on analogies (i.e., if there are more words than images, the coach is left brained; if there are more images than words, the coach is right brained). 4. Make a guess as to the percentage of space devoted to you, the prospective client, versus themselves, the coach. Intuitives measure subjectively. An intuitive would predict that the coach will spend a commensurate amount of time in these percentages during an actual encounter. That is the logic of the intuitive. 5. Notice the colors used. Decide if you like or dislike them. Color is extremely important to the right brained intuitive. Colors have vibrational qualities that make a strong impression. They are compatible or incompatible, similar to the vibrations in different kinds of music (are you the rock n roll type, the C & W or the classical?) 6. Does the coach quote a lot of other sources or do they seem to have a voice of their own? Intuitives look for authenticity and score it highly. 7. Notice how many hits the page has gotten and refuse to be influenced by that. Intuitives are not particularly influenced by externals and objective data. They prefer, rely on and trust a subjective internal response. They will take quality over quantity if the choice is otherwise indicated. 8. Speak the coach's name? Do you like the sound of it? Intuitives trust vibration and correspondence on all planes. Dissonance is dissonance whether in sound or personality. 9. Notice if the coach's name has cultural heritage connotations that you resonate with or is it neutral? Intuitives are looking for likeness or similarity between the objective and subjective. 10. Call the coach's answering machine and listen to the sound of their voice. Register a like or dislike. Intuitives are strongly influenced by compatibility in vibrations, including color and sound.
